Design 3 Studio Inc. was founded by Shahin Heshmat in 2009 as a residential design and consulting firm serving homeowners, architects, and contractors

throughout Westchester County, New York, and Fairfield County, Connecticut.

With more than 40 years of experience as a custom home designer, Shahin has focused primarily on custom homes, including new residences, additions, renovations, and alterations. His work spans Long Island, Westchester County, and Fairfield County.

Earlier in his career, Shahin established and led his own design office in Tehran, working with private-sector clients and participating in architectural competitions. His work received second prize in architectural competition for Tehran's largest cultural center.

Shahin studied visual arts at Bennington College and graduated from New York Institute of Technology School of Architecture on Long Island in 1985.
